You may not have noticed, but in recent release, we added a few changes to the “Settings” area. Now, once you enable the “Agents” feature from your Settings area, you’ll be able to relate invoices and payments to your agents (or resellers, reps, etc. — you name it) and run appropriate financial reports.

Enabling “Agents” Feature

  1. Navigate to “Settings” area and check the Enable “Agents” box.Navigate to "Settings" area and check the Enable "Agents" box.Want to rename “Agents” to something else? No problem! You may do so by clicking on the “Agents” dropdown menu and select “Custom…” then simply type the term matching your business terminology.

  2. Save changes by clicking on the  “Save” button below the Settings area.
  3. Now, navigate to newly enabled “Agents” area (Invoices > Agents) and start creating agents.Now, navigate to newly enabled "Agents" area (Invoices > Agents) and start creating agents.
  4. The “Agent” dropdown menu will appear on invoice and estimate edit modes. Simply select the agent you’d like to relate to the given invoice/estimate and save the invoice changes.

“Agents” in “Payments Collected” Reports

The excel file of the “Payments Collect” report will now contain an “Agent” column for each of the received payment, allowing you to run financial reports related to your agents & resellers.
