How we protect your data

256-bit SSL encryption in transit
All information traveling between your browser and Servicejoy is protected with up to 256-bit SSL encryption. The lock icon in your browser confirms it.
Firewalls
The Servicejoy application — including all of your data — rests securely behind enterprise-grade firewalls.
Strong encryption at rest
Particularly sensitive information — credit card numbers, bank account details, and payment gateway credentials — are encrypted in our database using AES. All card transactions are processed on a PCI-Compliant network, the same standard used by leading banks.
Physical security
Servicejoy servers are in Amazon's state-of-the-art data centres with biometric access controls, constant surveillance, redundant power feeds and generators, robust fire suppression, and carefully monitored climate control.
Reliability

Always available when you need it

Redundant servers and data centres
Redundant storage and servers keep the application available even if hardware fails. A second set of servers in a geographically separate data centre protects against any disruption to our primary location.
Nightly backups to offsite storage
Your data is replicated across multiple database servers in two geographic locations, and backed up nightly to tape stored at a secure offsite location. Even in the event of a catastrophe, your records can be quickly restored.
